Malaysia Offended by Internet

The Malaysian government is offended that people are criticizing Malaysia on the Internet. Information Minister Mohamed Rahmat condemned the dissent, saying that Malaysian students abroad are smearing the country's good name and the government is considering laws to curb such "abuses." Rahmat suggested that people seeking information about Malaysia read officially sanctioned sources such as The Star and Berita Harian newspapers.

Awww, we're sorry, we never meant to offend any anal bureaucrats in some country that can't tell its information policy from a hole in the ground. Revolution extends a hearty welcome to all Malaysians who have disobeyed their government and read this page!
