In April 1996, three Libertarians won office in Wisconsin:
Jerry Broitzman Jr. was elected District 5 Alderman in Greenfield
James J. Mueller was elected Town Supervisor in Middleton
Randy Palmer of Altoona was elected District 11 County Supervisor in Eau Clair County
In addition, Libertarian Steve Chantelios was appointed to the Public Works Committee in the Village of Jackson.
