Television AdsFrom Tom Isenberg: The Washington LP is thinking about doing some TV ads, probably for broadcast during Rush Limbaugh's TV show or during "Star Trek:TNG" re-runs. I've got an idea that I'd like to bounce off you folks for a sanity check. The basic idea is that there will be one 60-second ad consisting of two 30-second spots shown back-to-back. Taken together, the ad will attract people who respect gun rights and will consider drug legalization (i.e., potential libertarians.) Ideally, we would create customized versions of this ad so other state LPs could show their own 1-800 numbers. Interested state LPs would share the production costs and then raise money to broadcast it in their areas.
