- Superintendent of Public Instruction:

60,000+ votes (about 3.5%)
- US Representative District 1: Mike Krass
- US Representative District 2: Paul Zimmerman
- US Representative District 3: Bernie Taylor
- US Representative District 4: Ken Bisson
- US Representative District 5: Tom Lehman
- US Representative District 6: Fred Peterson
- US Representative District 7: Barbara Bourland
- US Representative District 8: Paul Hager
- US Representative District 9: Diane Merrium
- US Representative District 10: Kurt St. Angelo: with 99% precincts
reporting, 3,505 votes (2%)
- State Representative District 35: Colin Roney
- State Representative District 38: Joe Gravagna
- State Representative District 93: Dan Ferris
- Tippecanoe County Council: Karen D. Benson: (34%)
Interesting notes: Dasbach and Benson were
endorsed by a daily newspaper in Fort Wayne. Benson came in second,
behind the Republican winner but well ahead of the Democrat, and
was endorsed by the Lafayette newspaper.
