1996 Elections in Georgia
The Libertarian Party of Georgia ran
the following candidates in the November 1996 elections. The party
needed to win 33,000 votes for US Senate, Secretary of State or
Public Commissioner in order to get ballot status; all three
candidates met that condition.
- US Senate: Jack Cashin: final count 81,833 votes (3.6%)
- Secretary of State: Roger Wilson
- Public Service Commissioner: Darren Allen
- Public Service Commissioner: Mark Antieau
- State Representative District 15: Britt Miller (not expected to be on ballot)
- State Representative District 38: Jeff Amason (not expected to be on ballot)
- State Representative District 82: John L. "Jack" Houman
- Cobb County Commission District 4: Woody Russell (not expected to be on ballot)
- Forsyth County Commission: George Mitchell (not expected to be on ballot)
