ATF Hypocrisy

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is quick to respond when private citizens don't follow myriad federal gun regulations to the letter, keeping track of extensive weapons collections.

However, when the ATF came up short 152 firearms in one inventory, they simply erased the weapons from their computer records without investigation, according to an April 16, 1995, Gannett News Service report.
