Community and Social Issues
Functional, satisfying communities are built by the efforts of
everyone in them to achieve common goals. The trend since the early
20th century to nationalize all social issues takes responsibility away from
local groups, puts control in the hands of people far removed from
the actual problems, and results in a one-size-fits-all approach
that is inappropriate to the great diversity of human community.
Libertarians support having private organizations rather than
government trying to solve social problems.
