Linda Thompson

Dr. Linda Thompson is an Internet character who has been prominent in the militia and Waco movements.

Thompson issued the "Thompson Ultimatum" demanding that Congress repeal most of the legislation it has ever passed, and calling for militia enforcement of the ultimatum. She later claimed that the ultimatum was simply to stir controversy and get people to offer better alternatives.

Thompson's theory about the Waco fire is that it was started by a flamethrower tank. This idea was discredited, and now government apologists use it as a straw man to avoid discussing real evidence of government wrongdoing.
